O Lord, it is you who inspires me,
You inspire me to write, to contemplate, to pray, to live for you.
My love for you comes from you.
It floods my being and overflows
to you and to others, perhaps more than to myself.
Should I love myself better
that my love to you and to others would be more sweet and authentic?
Help me, Lord, to let go of myself,
holding myself up, trying to defy gravity.
Let me fall into your hands
that I would know your strength, your love for me.
